I think everybody has being in a wedding. I went to a wedding this Saturday and I had never seen a bride crying so much at the wedding. I saw her coming from one door, her brother was holding her hand. I liked her dress because her dress was according to day wedding. I feel some kind of nostalgic when I saw her crying and when her brother was telling her how much he loves her. She started crying when she arrived at the table where she had to sing the paper she began crying. The guy was waiting for her at the table, he moved her tears from the face and he gave her a hug. The ceremony begins and she did not stop crying. Her mom and her brother saw her and they look like they wanted to cry too. Her mom was sad because she was the first girl that was going to get married and she loves her a lot. The ceremony was about fifteen minutes. Finally, the ceremony ended and everybody went to hug them. At this moment she stopped crying.
When the party begins, everybody gets up of their chair and begin dancing. Like traditionally on her culture her brother representing her father danced with her the first song. Like everybody dance with them every person put money on their clothes and they have to dance with the people who putted the money on. After the toast arrived, mmmmm it was delicious to cheer with them. They had beers, Tequila, and champagne. Anything you wanted to drink it was there. The food was delicious too. The food was Mexican and Guatemalteca. People could take whatever they wanted to eat. The just married went to cut the cake and they took many pictures. One thing that happened during the party was that the rain begins and everybody was dancing in the rain. Everybody was wet but they like to be like that and the rain didn’t stop them. The party was in a house and that was the reason why they get wet when the rain was on them. They were exited. Everything on the party was very organized but they didn’t realize that the rain was going to appear during the night, they didn’t check out the weather.
Finally the party was over and everybody leave. They were wet but they enjoyed the party. I enjoyed the party very much and I was happy because I shared with my boyfriend’s family. I learned how a mother love a daughter and how important is spend some time with her before getting married. It was sad thing for me was to see how the mom of the bride was leaving her daughter with her husband. I think she was crying because she was going to leave her family and now she was going to start a new chapter of her life. I think life is like that and someday everybody is going to leave his or her family to make their own life.
That sounded like fun. I really don't go to wedding( in the matter of fact I really don't go to any parties, I'm a stay home kind of person.)but the few I gone to were not fun sadly. People in the party judging each other by the way they were dress to how they dance. That's why I just stay home so no one can judge me.
ReplyDeleteI've been to a couple of weddings actually (2 to be exact). And much to what you said, it is an emotional thing to see two people start their lives together, to make a promise of lasting love. Not to sound cheesy with what I said by any means, but it is one of the only real adult and mature things people still do. Anyway, congratulations to the newly weds.
ReplyDeleteI just took a road trip up to Oregon (12 hour trip) because a cousin was getting married! It was beautiful and I know what you mean by this entry. It is a beautiful thing, seeing two people in love celebrating the first day of their rest of their lives! I love weddings because it inspires me!:)

ReplyDeleteI just went to a wedding in Newport on the 12th. It was for someone my sister knows whom we went to high school with, so it was strange to see how everyone has changed (or not) since we graduated almost a decade ago.
