Bye-Bye to Freedom

This story is about a girl that was living with her grandmother. Nadia grow up with her grandmother because her mother works all the day and every day to give Nadia everything she need. Nadia was quiet and shy. Well the time passed and she became a pretty girl.  Sometimes when her mother got home at night they had a little chat about the day they had. Her mother was tired and didn’t talk so much. When Nadia went to high school many guys wanted to hang out with her and be her boyfriend. So one day she decided to have a boyfriend without telling to her mother and grandmother. Her cousin Ana notice that she had a boyfriend and she told to Nadia’s mom. Nadia was in trouble.  During two months she was punished at her room without going anywhere and without going to the school.  Her grandmother didn’t wanted that Nadia has a boyfriend because the guy didn’t was a good boy for her. Nadia’s mom hit her and talks badly; so she was very sad of what was happening with her. The grandmother was very strict, and one day her grandmother took Nadia to live with her cousin Ana. So in that way she couldn’t see her boyfriend. She was far from him.
Then the guy was looking for her, and he found her. When he found her, he offered her to run away with him and she accepted. He took her to live with his family and his family was a crazy family. The mother of this guy and his sister always were fitting on the street with other people. Nadia became doing the same thing like the family of her boyfriend did. She was pregnant of a girl and after a year a boy. Nadia didn’t change her behavior when she had her family and always was fitting with other people. One day they committed a crime, they burn a girl on the house of the victim. Nadia thought that nothing was going to happen to her because the police didn’t arrest her. But when the victim talked the police was right after her and right after the family of her boyfriend. The police took them to jail. Now all of them are in prison. The attorney said that they don’t have getaway because the day that they were going to be free, a person appear on the court and show a video to the judge that they were the people who burn the girl. They were sentence to fifty years to prison, including Nadia.
Lastly, Nadia lost her family, her son and daughter, her mother, her grandmother, and her freedom. The sad thing is that she isn’t going to see her boy and girl grows up. Now she feel sorry about what she did, but for her is too late, she had to be on jail for fifty years. I don’t know how a person can change a lot, if she was totally different when she was a child.  Now her mom can’t do anything about her and she feels guilt because she was not enough time with her.

Poor Child

When children are alone they become vulnerable to the world. Many things can happen if they don’t have their parents who can take care of them.  Children become abuse and discriminated.
I knew a child who his name was Tito, he was a hard worked at the age of 12. He had to wake up very early in the morning. He planted beans, corn, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers. Tito had to be the whole day in the grove. The seven day a week. At the nights when he got home, he was tired, and hungry. The people who live in the house didn’t give him food, just water. He had to wash his clothes, buy his food, even though he doesn’t have money.  They didn’t pay him any of his work and didn’t buy him clothes, shoes, and personal things. Clean the house during his free time was other work, he couldn’t rest because they get mad at him and they were yelling at him. Tito had to obey everything they tell him because their parents weren’t with him.  Moreover, Tito was accused or robbery, he saw scare of what was going on.
One day I saw him walking trough the park, he was carried his backpack. I run when I saw him because he looks sad and I wanted to know he was going to be ok. He told what had happen to him. He told me “I was like slave on that house, I work six years, and they didn’t paid me anything. They didn’t appreciate my work and wanted everything on their house and grove worked well.” Also, he said that he was under treat if was going to leave the house. Tito didn’t care about what they told him and he left the house. The sad thing was that his uncles and her grandmother were the people who were treating him bad. When I hear that I was angry because his own family didn’t care him and put him working like a slave. I recommended him with one of the persons who need people for work, while he was living in my house. After a month he receive a call from work but the offer was in his country, the offer was in the city. The manager need people who wanted to be gardener, and he was agreed with it. He moved from my house and went San Jose. Later, like in a year he was back to visit us, he was very happy and looking pretty good. The people who hired him were nice to him and pay the hours that he worked. He looks comfortable.
Furthermore, he told me “I learned the good things when people care about me. I learned that I felt miserable when I was working for nothing. My self esteem is high after many years of sadness. I had a place where to live my own things and nobody yell at me. Outside of the world when you are alone the people are rude and don’t thing about your feelings.”

My vacation

I went to my aunt house on my vacation. I help her with many things. One of my favorite things was take care of the horses. Although I have to do many things with them I did every day. I Feed them, clean them, and sometimes took them to the river.
First of all, I woke up at 5:00 in the morning. I prepared the food and feed the horses. There were two horses, Paloma and Café. Sometimes in the afternoon I get some horses rides on café back. I took one first and then the second one. When they have finished eaten, I took Paloma to wash her. After I took café and I did the same thing. When I was brushing café everything was nice but when I began brushing Paloma she began getting scare. So I took them to the river where they can take a long walk. That day when we were walking back home Paloma didn’t want to walk. I was scare because I saw how she was getting angry. I went to take my uncle and he brought her to the barnyard. In that afternoon I get ride on café’s  back because I had to find a veterinarian for her. The veterinarian wasn’t at her work that afternoon. So I had to go back home and talk to my uncle what we are going to do.  I couldn’t sleep that night.  I heard some noise of the horses during the whole night.  The next morning I woke up and went so see Paloma, she was restless. I took Café with me and when to find the doctor, the doctor was there and we take him with us. She said that Paloma was going to have a horse. The day ended and during the night I discoveried that Polama gave birth to a horse. It was brown, brown and little. The little horse was near of her mom and couldn’t walk. My aunt told me if I wanted to put a name to the horse and I said yes. I choose the name and the name was Tamarindo. The third day Paloma died and I was really sad because the doctor couldn’t do anything about her. The doctor couldn’t find the cause of the death of the horse. During two months I was taking care of the horse, I always when to buy milk to feed him.  I saw how he began walking and sometimes I play with him. I like to wash him and clean him when my aunt couldn’t. It was a pretty good horse and he had to survive without his mom.
Finally, I have to go back to my house. I enjoyed my vacations with y aunt and my aunt; I didn’t imagine that I would see a little horse barely born. I help them and share with them the new horse but I was sad because with the new born Paloma died. I didn’t want she died but the doctor couldn’t help her so much.
